Arc de Triomphe

Napoleon commissioned this building in 1806. It was to be the arch under which his triumphant armies would march. Today it offers one of the most beautiful views of Paris; the Champs Elysées, the Concorde, the Tuileries and the Grande Arche.

This two kilometre long avenue is the most beautiful in the world. Lined with trees and with hundreds of stylish shops, it delights lovers of walking and of shopping.

An ideal location in Paris

With its famous Sacré-Coeur Basilica, Montmartre is a favourite with foreign visitors. The highest point in Paris, Montmartre is a village in the centre of the capital, with numerous restaurants and prestigious cabarets, including the Moulin Rouge.
